Overview

Assisted Living Concepts, Inc. (“ALC”) and its subsidiaries operate more than 200 senior living residences with capacity for over 9,000 residents in 20 states. These senior living communities typically consist of 40 to 60 units and offer residents a supportive, home-like setting and assistance with activities of daily living or opportunities to work with home health agencies. ALC employs approximately 4,100 people.

ALC separated from Extendicare (EHSI) and became its own organization in October 2006. It became a publicly traded company (NYSE Euronext: ALC) that same month. Headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, ALC is located about 30 minutes northwest of Milwaukee and about 2 hours north of Chicago.

The executive officers of Assisted Living Concepts have many years of healthcare industry experience along with years of business and management experience. Their dedication to ALC and its team is illustrated by visiting the residences and establishing daily communication opportunities with team members. They take active roles in the daily operations of the ALC communities nationwide. Responsive corporate systems and active management oversight help solidify ALC as a leading provider of senior housing services.

We provide services tailored to meet our clients’ physical and health needs. Our staff can assist seniors with nursing or personal care needs, such as meal service, bathing, dressing and medication management. Together with residents and their families, we choose the level of service that provides the independence, peace of mind and value that our residents deserve.
